Funding

Project Learning Tree is the environmental education program of the American Forest Foundation (AFF). AFF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is supported by individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government agencies (AFF Fundraising and Development Policy).

Additionally, our individual state and country program partners receive independent support from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

We offer a variety of funding opportunities to support PLT programs. 

PLTs Service Learning Grant Program - Greenworks!

Through our Greenworks! program, PLT provides service-learning and community action grants to PLT trained educators and their students to positively impact the communities in which they live and work.  In 2004, GreenWorks! was able to fund service-learning projects in 41 communities.
