Now you can join our international network of more than 500,000 formal and non-formal educators using PLT materials. You can participate in a professional development workshop and receive appropriate PLT materials including the PreK-8 Activity Guide, Energy & Society Guide, or Secondary Modules. PLT workshops are organized through our network of sponsors, coordinators, and facilitators. In the United States, more than 70 coordinators work with a cadre of over 2,500 volunteer facilitators to conduct workshops in their local communities.
There are different types of workshops offered to meet a variety of professional development needs. These workshops include: formal and non-formal educator, advanced, and train the trainer leadership.

Educator Workshops
Educator workshops are open to anyone, held at convenient times, and are free or offered at a nominal charge. Through PLT workshops, you can:

Advanced Workshops
Many state coordinators and facilitators offer advanced workshops for trained PLT educators. Advanced workshops are generally theme based, providing participants an opportunity to cover a particular environmental issue in depth.
