Fire Education Workshops

Here's what participants in Idaho have been up to:

Idaho teachers in the midst of the Enrichment for Activity #81: Living with Fire, (from the PreK-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide).

Idaho teachers are creating an unhealthy ponderosa pine forest. In the next step of the activity they're instructed to come up with a management plan to restore health to their forest. (From activity #8: Fire Management, in the high school module The Changing Forest: Forest Ecology.)
