Nearly 400 schools benefit from a collaboration between state and national leaders in the Green Schools movement.

Recognized for Improving Student Learning and Stewardship

Five educators who use environmental education as a tool to teach core subjects and foster environmental stewardship were named the 2012 National Outstanding Educators by Project Learning Tree^® (PLT), the environmental education program of the American Forest Foundation.

PLT is distributing more than $24,000 to schools or youth organizations across the country to support student-driven environmental improvement projects.
