Project Learning Tree is distinguished by the quality, commitment, and extent of its network of national and state partners and sponsoring organizations.
State Partners and Sponsors: These organizations sign agreements with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative to implement the PLT program in their state, and then hire PLT State Coordinators to do so. Many states have more than one state sponsoring organization. State sponsors include state government agencies, state forestry associations, universities, state environmental education associations, and other non-profit entities. Contact your PLT state coordinator to learn about how the PLT program works in your state.
