The Minnesota Department of Education offers a research-based resource for teaching preschoolers outdoors from the perspectives of teachers, parents, and the children themselves: Early Childhood Outdoor Learning Booklet. Written during COVID, the booklet includes stories about the stress-reducing benefits of teaching and learning outdoors.
